Andy is an acclaimed manager of arts organisations.
Andy is presently working as a consultant on the working party to develop a new business plan for The Natural Theatre Company since the Arts Council's decision to stop funding the company from 2012.
Artistic Director Arc Theatre Wiltshire 2010
During a short fixed term contract at The Arc, Andy was asked to present a plan to keep the theatre open. This successful plan has seen the theatre remain open, despite continual plans to redevelop the theatre into a conference centre.
This included a new programming policy, new marketing, new branding, front of house refurbishment, new staff structure, online booking, new website, new offices, new projection equipment, new film programme.
Andy programmed the Autumn season 2010, this met audience and finiancial targets and increased the mailing list. Andy was asked back to assist programming Spring 2011.
Artistic Director Rondo Theatre Bath 2001-2007
Andy oversaw the most successful period in The Rondo's history, doubling turnover and audience attendances as well as undertaking a complete refurbishment of the building - technical, front of house and backstage. The Times stated that The Rondo was one of the six most important small theatres in Britain. Andy was awarded Venue Magazine's "Thespian of The Year 2007" for his work at The Rondo.
Joint Artistic Director Innerroom Theatre Company 1995-2001
Andy helped set up Innerrom, which built from small local tours to a major middle scale tour of The Fisher King in 1999.
